Meet David Nassivera – Owner

David Nassivera is an accomplished finance and operations executive with extensive experience leading private equity-backed organizations as a Finance Director and Chief Operating Officer. He has built a career helping businesses improve financial performance, optimize operations, and achieve sustainable growth. As both an executive and entrepreneur, David brings a unique perspective to business leadership. Having owned and operated multiple businesses, including a successful painting company in New York, he understands the realities of building and managing organizations from the ground up. David is known for his people-first leadership approach, believing that engaged employees and exceptional
customer service are the foundation of every successful company. His expertise spans financial management, operational strategy, process improvement, and organizational development, enabling businesses to scale while maintaining a strong culture and delivering outstanding client experiences. Today, David partners with organizations to strengthen operations, develop high-performing teams, and create long-term value for owners, investors, employees, and customers.

Meet Daniel Jeter– Sales Consultant

Daniel is a sales and business development professional. He has extensive experience in the painting industry with 15 years of those being with Sherwin Williams. Throughout his career, Daniel has helped homeowners, property managers, real estate professionals, and community associations make informed decisions about protecting and enhancing their properties. Daniel is committed to serving his community and believes in treating every client with honesty, respect, and transparency. Whether working with homeowners on a single project or collaborating with business partners on large-scale initiatives, Daniel strives to deliver results that exceed expectations while fostering trust and lasting relationships.

Meet Mathew Smith  – Service Manager

Matthew has been a valued member of Showstopper Paint Co. for over 9 years, advancing from a professional painter to Project Manager through his dedication to quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. Before joining the company, he spent 5 years remodeling kitchens, bathrooms, and commercial spaces, building a strong foundation in both construction and painting.

 

Throughout his career, Matthew has successfully managed projects of all sizes, from residential painting to commercial painting. His extensive knowledge of construction and painting enables him to anticipate challenges, coordinate projects efficiently, and deliver outstanding results. With a strong background in remodeling, painting, and project management, Matthew is committed to helping every customer find the best solutions for their project. He works closely with clients to understand their goals, provide expert guidance, and ensure every project is completed with superior craftsmanship, attention to detail, and lasting quality.

Meet Kevin Pagano – Project Manager

Kevin is a highly skilled Project Manager for Showstopper Painting, bringing nearly a quarter-century of paint industry experience to every project. His extensive background includes a 19-year career in corporate paint sales and management—highlighted by 15 successful years at Sherwin-Williams—coupled with 5 years of hands-on entrepreneurship running his own painting company. This unique blend of corporate strategy, product expertise, and business ownership allows Kevin to seamlessly bridge the gap between technical planning, crew management, and exceptional client delivery.

Meet Ken Lane – Sales Consultant

After 45 years in the painting industry Ken Lane brings decades of experience to Showstopper. Having been raised in the industry and a third generation painter, Ken is considered a master craftsman in color coatings and all phases of preparation and application.
Joining the Showstopper team after owning his own painting business for over 20 years, he is excited and motivated to continue bringing his expertise to customers throughout Hampton Roads.

Meet Michele McClure  – Sales Consultant 

Michele is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and holds a graduate degree from Robert Morris University. Her career began in property management, serving as a Regional Property Manager and later as a Portfolio Manager, where she managed large portfolios and oversaw multimillion-dollar projects. This experience gave her a strong understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by property owners, HOA and condominium associations, and property management teams.
 
Three years ago, she brought that experience to Showstopper Painting!  Her background in property management and project oversight provided a natural transition into the painting industry, where she gained hands-on experience managing projects from start to finish and later moved into Commercial Marketing as a Sales Professional.
 
Michele works every day to provide the highest level of service possible. ” I truly enjoy getting to know my clients, understanding their unique needs, and finding the best solutions for their properties. My goal is to make the entire process as seamless and stress-free as possible—from the initial conversation and estimate through project completion.” she says.
